"Jammin" Jimmy Carillo began his professional DJ career in
1977. As the owner of a Manhattan record shop, he met many
DJ's and was introduced to the club DJ world, and trained by
Neffi Centano. After several small Brooklyn clubs, he was hired
to DJ in Columbus, Ohio, where he formed the Disco Den Ohio
Record Pool. There he also promoted after hours parties at
United Skates of America Roller Rink. He became their New York
DJ coordinator, hiring and training DJ's for their 5 New York
area locations. He manned the turntables at numerous New York
venues in the 70's and 80's, including L'Amour and Heatwave in Brooklyn, Roller Park and L'Amour East in Queens, Bedrox and
the Doo Wop Club in NYC, and many guest spots, including the
Reggae Lounge in Manhattan. In the 90's he DJ’d the Classic
Disco Night at the famed Club Boca in Boca Raton, Florida.
Since moving to Florida full time in 2000, he revived his musical
journey, building the largest karaoke Meet-Up group in Florida,
with more than 1200 members, and continued to DJ for HOA's
and restaurants in the Boca-Boynton-Delray area. He has DJ'd
at Ocean One Delray, first downtown and now in the Delray
Marketplace, for the past 5 years. There have been guest spots
at Platforms, Vic & Angelo's, Ellie's 50's Diner, Delray Ballroom,
and several other area night spots. He performs in dinner theater
for Standing Room Only Productions as the DJ in "Death at the
Disco", "The Carlucci-Cohen Comedy Wedding", and several
others. Known for versatility, and knowledge of all genres of
music, his forte is disco, where he is most impressive. He is a
welcome addition to the Hustle Into Paradise family, and we
look forward to his continued participation.

Derrick Morman is a popular DJ in the NY tri-state area. His company Make U Dance has been providing the New York tri-state area with the best DJ experience since 2003. They score a 5.0 on wedding wire including voted for wedding couple choice awards in 2014 and 2015. Make U Dance is affiliated with elite organizations such as Howard Beach Studios, Villa Russo, and Da Mikele Illagio. Derrick Morman is a fantastic hustle dancer and knows the music we all love. Derrick has branched out more in recent years playing hustle for the tri-state area. He knows that tri-state present day energy and brings that great energy with him. Hustle into Paradise is excited and proud to have him on our staff.
Ron Bess
Master of Ceremonies
Ron resides in New Jersey and has been dancing in the hustle scene for over 45 years. He competed on the national syndicated TV show "Dance Fever" and has won over 100 contest throughout the United States. He performed and traveled with the Ralph Lew Dance Company for 8 years. Ron has been the Master of Ceremonies at many hustle conventions and events over the last 28 years including Hustle USA, New York hustle Congress Disco America..... currently he promotes, organizes weekly dance socials, coaches dance couples and is the editor of the online newsletter DanceTalk - reaching over 100,000 dancers every week. In efforts to keep the history of the hustle alive he helped create the "Hustle Hall Of Fame" website. For 30 years he has been co-hosting the annual "Holiday Spectacular" dance event. Ron was the recipient of the Icon award at the New York Hustle Congress, The World Hustle Dance Championship Lifetime Achievement Award, inducted into the Disco America Hall of Fame and the recipient of the Christopher M Nardone award.
